The Parish of English Martyrs in Hillmorton

English Martyrs Catholic Church.

Inside the Church.

The Parish of English Martyrs includes the areas of Rugby known as Hillmorton, Paddox, Abbots Farm and Eastlands, as well as the villages of Clifton-upon-Dunsmore and Newton to the north of Hillmorton.

Hillmorton is now a suburb of Rugby, but it was once a separate village. Rugby is now the fastest expanding area in Warwickshire with a great deal of new residential properties built and transience across the town is contributing to this growth and expansion.

The clergy serve two parishes. The parish of English Martyrs and the Parish of Monks Kirby.

Father Murray is the new Parish Priest af English Martyrs Church from September 2015. Father Christy has moved to a different parish in Solihull. Father Murray is also the Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church in Bilton. Father Matthew will still be working in the parish and he is also continuing his wonderful work in the school. Father Matthew is the Parish Priest of Monks Kirby and he also continues his role of Chaplain in a Catholic Secondary School in another part of the Archdiocese.
